What Trophies Do You Seek?

In 1999, Quest Ministries began the journey known today as the Special Youth Challenge Hunt.  Far more than a hunt, this experience brings the outdoors in its entirety into the hearts and souls of special youth from all walks of life. 

For many of these youth, experiencing the outdoors may have been something unattainable due to various barriers.  At Quest Ministries, we overcome these barriers so these youth may engage in hunting, fishing and God’s creation in a brand new way! 

The Youth Challenge Hunt is a fully curated hunting, fishing and fellowship weekend for these challenged youth and his or her sponsor. 

Quest Ministries is not just about youth.  In 2003, the Billy Ray Parnell Memorial Purple Heart Hunt was born.  This hunt is in honor of Billy Ray Parnell, a close high school friend of Skipper Bettis, founder of Quest Ministries.  Billy Ray paid the ultimate price in Vietnam less than a month into his first deployment. 

We are humbled by the countless men and women who selflessly sacrificed their lives to protect our freedoms.  We are also grateful for those that sacrificed and bear wounds less visible.  The mission of this hunt is to honor these brave men and women and to facilitate healing through camaraderie, community and time spent in God’s majestic outdoors.  This is a fully curated hunting, fishing and fellowship weekend for Purple Heart recipients and their sponsor. 

Beyond this, Quest Ministries is dedicated to creating moments in nature that embrace healing, fellowship and tranquility.  With Two Hats Ranch as a backdrop, the Quest community of youth and veterans, can partake in many facets of natural exploration.  From woodland fawn experiences to supper club dinners and relaxing lodge weekends, Quest Ministries is focused on bringing healing and growth to those it serves. 

To make all of this possible, Quest Ministries holds an annual fundraiser to create the opportunities for both special needs youth and Purple Heart to take part in these experiences.  It is only through generous donors and sponsors that Quest Ministries is able make the impossible possible.  Thank you so much for your continued support!
